I have a J2EE project that is not small in scale. And I'm currently evaluating the use of SAPDB. It seems to me SAPDB is a scalable and reliable DB. The only question I have is on the development time. My developers do have good database development experience in using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, using ADO, ODBC and JDBC. Does anybody could share your experience and thought on what do you think the learning curve would be? What significant difference are there between SAPDB and other commercial DB? What factors need to be considered?
