hi!
playing with my query statements i use the combination of
EXPLAIN <something>
SELECT * FROM show
quite frequently.
since my (and most other, IMHO) db query tools (e.g. DbVisualizer)
automatically show the result set after running a query statement it
would be nice, if EXPLAIN would return the "show" table as the result.
this way it is easy to quickly see the plan of a given query statment:
simply prepend it with EXPLAIN.
how does that sound?
