hi all, I was able to successfully create a test DB, but I can't seem to create another DB from the DBM GUI or the Web interface:
database instance name: usd install database on server: localhost, username/pass SW version (current) 7.3.0.0 /opt/sapdb/depend DBM User: usddbm pass, confirm --------- Error�-24965 logon to system failed I looked at this error's text in the manual: ERR_SYSLOGON - logon to system failed� Explanation: The DBM server could not log on to the operating system or the command used requires it to be already logged on to the operating system. User action: Check you entries as well as the authorizations assigned to the respective user. Under NT, the user must have the authorization logon as batch job. The current DBM server user must also have authorization to log on under a different user account.
