My names is Daniel Lopez and I just started with SAP DB. In our team we have an already mature web application development system that allows us to use PLSQL to generate XML and then transform it using XSLT to generate the different outputs like HTML, WML, SVG-JPEG. Even though we are quite happy with it, now I'm trying to open get away a bit from Oracle and I thought about using SAP DB. I've installed my first DB and I have to admit that the installation procedure was clear, documented and it worked. However, I've stumbled with the lack of information regarding the creation of stored procedures. I mean, I've already read the Reference manual where the syntax is defined, but all I've found is ONE example, which doesn't compile in SQLStudio, giving syntax errors I don't exactly understand. So, is there any place where I can lear more about the language used to define the stored procedures? Books, examples... anything? Any sophisticated tool like Toad for Oracle? It really is a nice web application development system and we are about to release it open source, so I'd love to be able to use it SAP DB. Thanks in advance, D. ------------------------------------------- Daniel Lopez Janariz ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Web Services Computer Center Balearic Islands University -------------------------------------------
