And you backed up your data with the medium completeT ("dbmcli -d raildata
-u dbm,dbm -uUTL backup_start completeT") and you did not delete the medium
completeT between backup and restore? If so, could I have a look into the
files dbm.knl, dbm.mdf, dbm.mmm and dbm.prt? By the way a -uUTL is missing
in your dbmcli-call for recovery.

You can restore the backup to a second database instance and have a look
onto it.

Currently there is only the document containing examples for backup and
restore (http://www.sapdb.org/pdf/sichwiederheng.pdf) available. But I think
you already know that document.
