hello erin, remove registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP DBTech" to clean the old SAP DB installation. after that you will be able to reinstall. start installation in a command window to see any error messages, otherwise the window closes immediately after installer terminates.
