I am the other one ;-) I only get the digested version of the mails and do not read all of them :-(
there are a few more as it seems :)) i developed the ZsapdbDA for Zope and Extended PyDO (skunkweb) with a sapdb-driver that both use sapdbapi.py. therefore i didn't see a matter to complain about the changes as they only affect the raw-sapdb module.
Anyway, I use the Python connectivity and I feel until now quite comfortable with it. I do not use an autoincrement column, sequences do the job for me... For the connectivity and the statement-handling itself I took the zsapdb-adapter from the ZOPE framework. (I just ripped out the zope-stuff and it worked ;-) I also use SAPDB with ZOPE (just beginning to get my first experiences)
Anyone else using ZsapdbDA for Zope with success ??? I'ld like to get feedback how it works, if there are problems, which os is used and perhaps which python/zope-version.
