Hi everybody My knowledge about sapdb is very low.
For my Content Server (on Windows 2000) I should install a backup solution. I have read the documentation and I'm still not able to configure sapdb backup for my Networker. I have tried to make this configuration but I received always the same error: "external backup tool not found [backup_save "NSR018" DATA RECOVERY]; The file "C:\Program Files\nsr\bin\" is missing or unreadable." I have the following questions: 1) How should I configure a pipe? '\\.\pipe\<pipe_name>' Is the name of the pipe important? (I don't understand how a pipe is working with my Legato Server) 2) How should be named the configuration file of the Networker and where I should save it? 3) To be able to make a backup with Legato Networker, do I need additional Software? If somebody has a better understandable documentation I'll be interested. In advance thanks.
