license clarification

hi list,
im doing some work for a client who is using a proprietary database wherein testing using their database is not very feasible. i would like to ask if it would be ok for me to use sapdb as the development/testing database as it looks like it could fit the bill. the client doesnt want to have any hidden suprises (and im not a lawyer) when using sapdb. the final release of the software would not include sapdb in the packaging.
