Hello, I have been able to get the complete backup and incremental backup to work on Veritas Netbackup using the Oracle for Backint approach. However, the log backup does not work. It failed with the following error:
ERR -24920,ERR_BACKUPOP: backup operation was unsuccessful The database was unable to fulfill a request (-9000, System error: Not yet implemented). External program terminated with exit code 1 Error saving liveCache LCA on medium back_log Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE I recalled in one of the SAPDB documents that it is not possible to save a log segment using external backup tool. Is this true? If so, will the AutoLog backup if I use external backup tool as with complete and incremental backups? Any recommendations on the log or AutoLog backup with external backup tool would be very appreciated! Thanks.
