Hello, - Looks like Database Manager on the 'View Details' page shows only one log devspaces, while it sums up values for data devspaces. I have two log devspaces (I've done screenshots if needed :-), 2* 10 GB, but DM shows only 10GB. I cannot compare it to dbmcli results, because I cannot figure out how to pull the usage percentages :-/
- Is there any way to see progress of lengthy operations like adding large devspaces or creating indices on large tables? How about long running queries? Looks like such operations are best done on physical terminal or screen instead of Database Manager... - I inserted 10 millon records into a table, then run index creation and backup at the same time. The RH 8.0 server locked up - it was trying to complete the operations for 20 hours. I wasn't even able to log at the physical screen/keyboard attached to the machine. I did Ctl+Alt+Del ( = TERM signal), and then hard reboot. After that the database wasn't broken in any way, but the index wasn't there. After reboot I run index creation and backup one after another and everything worked perfectly in below an hour. I think it was rather Linux problem not SAPDB, but still I think you'd better know this happened. Apart from that it runs excellent.
