Database Installation

Hello...   I recently installed the server... and I followed the instructions, by executing the SDBINST.exe program.  It showed the correct name Kimberly ...   But when I try to register, or install... and I type Kimberly I get a 4 communication error ...   Any advice??   Thanks Kim
