we had a project which involved a hot-standby cluster running under RedHat High Availability Server and Adabas-D 11 (a very close relative to SAP-DB). The way it worked, was that each node of the cluster had a local installation of the DB Server and the data devices (raw) where on an external raid array, which was mounted by the node that was currently active .
We are considering to migrate from Adabas to SAP-DB on RedHat High Availability Server, so I would be interested if there is any 'official' statement from SAP-DB folks concering cluster funtionality.

Arne
