Visual Basic is not a very OOP, but in certain case is very better than
java. Cause you can make a GUI in very few minute, use the complex ADO and
ADOX, each integration with ActiveX and all DBMS. Vb in more can comunicate
with every kind of peeripherical.

Vb.Net is very OOP I think more of java :-)
and mantain the simple way to design application.
