Hello Tilo,

no we just have single medium files and as I can remember so far, we have not created any media groups.
Do you have some more hints for this problem.

Greetings and thanks for help

Hello Christian,

have you, by any chance, created a media group and a single medium with the same name?
If so, delete one of them with the help of dbmcli.

Best Regards,

Subject: Run-time error 35606 while creating a backup media with dbmgr 7.4.2.6

Hello,

Today I tried to create a new backup media (instance->backup->complete) with the DB Manager (Version 7.4.2.6) for your production database.

I entered all the necessary fields and clicked ok and got the following error:
Run-time error 35603
Invalid key

After accepting this error the dbmgr closed itself. It tried several times to open the instance->backup->complete window again but the dbmgr closed itself without any message every time (also testet it with a DB-cold-warm status change).

When I used instance->configuration->backup media I recieve the error message again.

The error did not occure with the other databases running on this server (W2K, sapdb 7.3.0.24)

Greetings
