The point is that you can't. You have to sort externally. The ordering
in UNICODE follows UNICODE character id's which happens to place all
national characters after a-z. That's the way it is, and I agree that it
would be nice to have it another way. We use non-english characters too
so I suffer with you.

OK for UNICODE, but I still would like to know how to transfer my mapchar 
sets between databases. I use ASCII database actually, not UNICODE. I was 
only curious if some tool for proper sorting of national characters exist 
in SAP UNICODE databases.
