Hi All:
I am trying to set up a logical system in a BW installation. I created a
client 800, did client copy and I am able to logon to this client 800 using
SAP*. Now I want to use the administrator workbench. When I try to run it -
it gives an error saying that the logical system is not set up. So I try to
create it using transaction SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG -> BW Customizing
implementation guide -> Business Information Warehouse -> Links to other
systems -> General connection settings -> Define logical system
After this, everything is downhill!
I get an error - "No Changes for user SAP* allowed. Choose 'Display object'
or 'Cancel'."
The error message details are as follows [using the help icon]
--------------------------------
Message no. TK690
Diagnosis
User SAP* cannot change Repository or Customizing objects.
System response
The function terminates and the system branches to the object display.
Procedure
Make your changes as a user with the required authorization
--------------------------------
Has anyone seen an error like this and come to a successful resolution?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
- Ashish
