Hi,
I am attempting to set up SAP DB (7.3 build 32) with raw devices on a
recent linux based OS (suse with kernel 2.4.19).
Are there any size limits known for partitions used as raw devices
(like, say, for swap partitions which must be smaller than 2GB each)?
While I can certainly have as many partitions as I need to by using LVM,
setting up and maintaining two dozen separate raw devices is a pain in
the back...
