About $100, as the entry version is really sufficient. > So I was wondering what the likelyhood was of the precompiler > being modified > to support GNU C/C++ on Windows platforms? There were a few tests with other compilers on windows, see http://sapdb.2scale.net/moin.cgi/PrecompilerOnWindows. The problems don't seem unsurmountable, so if anyone is willing to spend the time to sort it out ... Building the whole SAP DB using gcc on Windows is a different matter and will require a major effort.
