I tend to agree with this approach.  I think SAP-DB moving to an all GPL
model is a good move rather than a bad move.  I don't care for the fact
that they are losing the SAP-DB name (though I could be
misunderstanding)  If this is a case of them simply licensing SAP-DB to
MySQL AB and there will still be a SAP-DB version, there is nothing much
to see here.  If the only way to get SAP-DB is to download this new
MySQL product then it stinks to lose the SAP-DB name.

I am leary of MySQL AB to a degree and that is why I would suggest
mirroring the source (though technically its always good to do so on any
product you rely on in production)  Hopefully this will be a good move
and not a "what were they thinking move".
