I tend to agree with this approach. I think SAP-DB moving to an all GPL model is a good move rather than a bad move. I don't care for the fact that they are losing the SAP-DB name (though I could be misunderstanding) If this is a case of them simply licensing SAP-DB to MySQL AB and there will still be a SAP-DB version, there is nothing much to see here. If the only way to get SAP-DB is to download this new MySQL product then it stinks to lose the SAP-DB name.
