2 - Can I Restore a database that was in SAPDB 7.4 (AIX 5.2) to a SAPDB7.4 (LINUX RH8.0) or SAPDB 7.4 (WIN2000 SRV)? (May I Have problems doing that ?)
No, backups must have been created on the same architecture. There are some finer points, but machines with different endianess will definitely not work.
The Loader is the right tool for this task.
