Hi Stefan, The 'dump' files of mysql may be a startup, but do not expect that such a thing will go automatic. And as you reported a crash, maybe you have no hope changing the output format, so you have certainly to munch the data before by a script or simular.
Also, as you might have already noticed, some data types are different in SAP DB from MySQL. I suggest reading something about the SAP DB Loader, http://www.sapdb.org/7.4/htmhelp/2d/c6c63522b8057ce10000009b38f889/content.htm especially regarding the DATALOAD command and its use and variants.
