Just wanted to check that all I have to do is add the database param to my init file:
param_put SESSION_TIMEOUT 0
you should think about that again, because under some circumstances TCP/IP may never detect (or it might take a very long time to detect), that the connection is broken and therefor these connections are not closed.
BTW: does the SAPDB-Server set the SO_KEEPALIVE option?
