there was a little fault in my previous mail, but i guess you got the point:

isClose() still returns FALSE, also if the Database Manager shows no
sessions
anymore.

I'm also not happy with the "ping"-statement,
maybe anyone from the SAP team has a better solution?

I'll check that again.
