If you could not start the database because log and data were incompatible (-8003), 
please A) create the database for a restore with the installation wizard of DBMGUI or 
B) use "dbmcli -d ... -u ...,... -uUTL -c util_execute INIT CONFIG" before restoring 
the backup of the other database.

This is exactly my case my online system run on an suse 7.2 and I want to
develop under win2k.
So what kind of alternative are available?
