I would be careful about this fix. Make sure it stays fixed. We also did this and it work until a few reboots had passed. ----
Well what do you know!!! That's all it was. I changed the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL environment variable and it worked... Thanks so much. This should be in a FAQ somewhere.
