I'm less worried about display than I am search.

If I categorize a product at Books: Fiction: Science Fiction, I would want
my users to be able to (like Amazon) search 'Books' for "The Time Machine."

I haven't yet looked at search code to see how this is handled, as our
current Satchmo store is heavily modified to use a custom full-text search
through the whole catalog and not Satchmo's default searching.
