Interesting, I am able to reproduce this error on a vanilla satchmo
install. It looks like the basic issue is that the Javascript is always
firing and trying to synch the fields. It definitely needs to be made
smarter so that this scenario doesn't happen.

I'd expect that the Javascript should only try to synch the fields when
they are blank. It shouldn't overwrite any default or existing values.
