I wasn't certain pointing my index finger at anyone. Just politely asking for setting a little longer deadline (if possible). If on Thursday someone had told me "hey, I'm gonna roll it out right tomorrow, please see if you can update those 20 strings this very night", I would have tried to do it in time. Please note I ain't saying I would have certainly make it, but I would at least have done the effort. I'm sorry if my de-contextualized email made you think of the contrary. I'm not angry, sad, deluded, or whatever. Just pointing out how we could cooperate better.
