I notice for the second time the usage of the word political in a strange sense in Tim Perdue's writings. The Savane project have no specific policitical purpose, apart from being Free Software. So the only political bind someone can have with Savane is being part of the Free Software spirit. In other words, when Tim Perdue suggest that Lorenzo is dishonnest because of "political ties to the Savane project", he suggests that Lorenzo is dishonnest because of political ties to Free Software. One more time, Tim Perdue's writing looks like anti-Free Software. I will not comment further that point.
But I am not sure there is any interest in this discussion.

I have no problem with free software, I'm just not as extremist as you are. Saying I'm "anti-free software" is lame. Maybe you should run for political office if that's the best you can come up with.
From what I can tell, you must be one of the people who cannot work with anyone else, which is why you created YET ANOTHER FORK of sourceforge for your own purposes, rather than trying to work with other people.
I'm busy trying to get other free software projects to MERGE WITH GFORGE, and your only interest is in forking because you can't function and work anyone who doesn't share you worldview.
Examples: Debian-SF -> GForge merge completed a year ago GBorg -> GForge migration is almost complete at Postgresql.org XoopsForge -> GForge merge will begin at Company XX shortly Savannah -> GForge migration will begin soon
Why not work together with other people to make a better open source project, rather than going off on your own and creating a project nobody will use?
I'm perfectly willing to work together with people who have stronger free software views than I do, and would consider moving GForge.org into a "Foundation", as long as that foundation were funded by multiple people, and not just me as it has been for 1 1/2 years now.
