Hi,
I believe this (and also the /users and /projects issues you had) is related
to the Apache configuration. 'projects' and 'users' are PHP files w/o the .php
extension, requiring a little setup.
In INSTALL.verbose, there is a not for Apache 2 users ("Note for apache
2.x:").
Beware that this INSTALL.verbose note documents a Savane setup installed in
'/savannah', you may have to changes the Location paths to '/savane' in the
httpd.conf excerpt it provides.
