Hello, What do you think is the best way to manage some "super-admins" for webpages? I mean, users that can edit all the webpages in a group type, like members of group 'www' can for GNU projects webpages at Savannah?
Currently this is done via a trick - editing each project root's passwd file. However I would like to move that to the system /etc/passwd. I still can do it after the cron job, but that means the system will take forever userdel/useradd'ing those super-users. Another option would be include some kind of hook in the backend. Or last, to support this kind of usage directly. Last time we mentioned the issues, ACLs was suggested as a solution. Since ACLs cannot usually be applied for more than ~30 users (and group 'www' has ~100), this is not a good solution eventually :/ -- Sylvain _______________________________________________ Savane-dev mailing list Savane-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/savane-dev
