Frankly, several month later, I think I cant tell we are not likely to
implement aliases. If think it would overcomplexify the code with not so much
benefit (well, a viewcvs link added or).
If an installation have to allow non-standard URLs, they should allow, per
group type configuration, projects to configure their viewcvs URL.
(I close the item, but if someone later wants to work on this, we can still
reopen it)
