I'd like to be warned before the merge and test it on a test install before. Merge is a crucial thing, I'd prefer doing safe backups of the CVS tree before and being sure the code wont break the trunk. Also, have you created an item on the task tracker regarding this branch? Finally, do you think changes are worth a release?
