I have several Groups set up, let\'s call them Foo Bar and Baz. They are all
assigned to the Group Type, FooBarBaz. FooBarBaz is configured like so:
Can use Homepage: yes
Selected SCM : CVS, Basic birectory
Can use CVS: yes, Basic CVS directory
Can use Download Area: yes, Basic directory
Can use licenses: no
Can use development status: yes
Can use mailinglists: yes
Can use forum: no
Can use support request tracker: yes
Can use bug tracker: yes
Can use task manager: yes
Can use patch manager: no
Can use news manager: yes
Can use forum: no
All linked editing options turned off excetp documentation \"extra\"
Paths have been supplied for everything (as per savane-doc\'s examples),
other than viewcvs, which I haven\'t installed yet.
The problem is that even as superuser, in This Project Active Features,
\"Bugs Tracker\" is off, and if I try to turn it on, when I submit the
change, it just goes off again. Attempting to go to the URL of, for example,
project Foo\'s bug tracker givens an error message: \"Error: This project has
turned off this tracker\". This problem also happens for projects Bar and
Baz.
What could cause this? Bug tracker should be on by default when I look at
the Active Features page for these projects, just like the other activated
features are.
Also, I have the same problem with the Documentation item in active features.
Even if I put a URL in there, when I check the box to turn on that feature
and submit the active features form, it is turned back off when the form
reloads. I just did another test, and it turns out I cannot save anything
put into the Documentation URL field, nor can I turn anything OFF that was
already on, such as Support Tracker. The field appears to pull information
from the database (flawed information - Bug tracker should already be turned
out), and have no way to write data back into the database. But not form
other forms, such as My Account Conf, or other group administration pages.
I am running ver. 1.0.7 right \"out-of-the-box\", and it is a new install,
not an upgrade. I\'ll be happy to provide any other details needed.
