It's crazy how abuse load changes quickly. Systems can go from being responsive to being offline in a few minutes after an AI scraper botnet cranks up. Connection timing out /might/ have been due to being overloaded causing the machine just not to be able to respond. That's a typical pattern. Or it might be that an entire ASN address block was banned due to an ISP being abusive. It's hard to know sometimes. We have automated a lot of this anti-abuse mitigation. Almost all of the automated address bans have a timeout and will eventually reset. Manual ones from people sometimes don't have a timeout though. > Just tried and it seems OK in both FTP and HTTPS .
