I'm already working on this; I should be able to merge our version of
log_accum with the upstream one (included with CVS) at the same time,
as you suggested a few weeks ago.
That is good.
There is an increasing amount of spam on the emacs-diffs list.
(I wonder how anyone found out about it.) An attempt was made
to put in filtering, but there was a bug, and nobody knew how
to debug it so they turned it off.
