That and:
chown -R root:texinfo texi2html/
chmod -R a-w texinfo
(+ using "cp -a" instead of "cp -pr" just in case)
Good lord.. 500MB? :)
The only thing you need to think about is that it altered the history -
people who checkout and old version will also checkout a copy of texi2html,
which wasn't there before.
We can revert the change if that's a problem.
