What free software are you using to uncompress a RAR archive? This is a
proprietary format, and there is no free software solution to decompress
archives >=v2. Even 7-zip uses a proprietary module in this regard.
For this reason, please use a format that can be accessed using free
software, and under a free OS such as GNU/Linux.
tar.gz, tar.bz2 and zip are good candidates.
