Hi, Sorry for another delay--my connectivity issues are not fully resolved... :-/
Now I can see the only dependency problem left is that people won't be able to redistribute _binaries_ of this project if they complied with support for OpenSSL _and_ any of gdbm or MySQL which are GPL. Is this still a showstopper for hosting at Savannah or am I missing something again? :) -- Cheers, Alex ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Arkadiusz Miskiewicz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Jan 27, 2008 10:45 PM Subject: [task #7673] Submission of tpop3d To: Alexander Shulgin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Arkadiusz Miskiewicz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [email protected] Follow-up Comment #4, task #7673 (project administration): Is this a problem even if openssl dependency is optional? (+ all other mentioned dependencies are optional) You can still build tpop3d without openssl or with openssl but without other gpl deps. You can't just mix openssl and other gpl deps as I understand. Adding GnuTLS support of course is another matter which can be done additionally. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?7673> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
