Reviewing your tarball ...
- no need to have both gpl.txt and COPYING. Delete gpl.txt.
- the GPLv2+ copyright notices on your files have an old address for the FSF.
Use the address from the current http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html.
- please add the same GPL notice or some other free license notice to the
files README and README.kernel.
I don't see that any of these are showstoppers, so I've approved the project.
