Hello,
a good decision helper about license notes seems to be a file size of more
than 1KB, but less if the content is especially "clever". Some people call a
file non-trivial as soon as it has more than 10 lines.
For cases where the license note would be bigger than the actual file there
are more simple licenses, for example
# Copyright (C) $YEAR $NAME
# This file is free software; $NAME
# gives unlimited permission to copy and/or distribute it,
# with or without modifications, as long as this notice is preserved.
/setup.py needs a copyright & license notice on top.
calculator.ui too.
On a first look, everything looks fine so far.
