Follow-up Comment #7, task #9618 (project administration): Maybe there a few people who have a gnu e-mail address and are indifferent to having projects named with the word "Open"; however, this does not change the fact that it is asked that people do not include the word "Open" in the wiki which was linked to from the registration page. Perhaps, it was mistake to use a wiki page named "HowToGetYourProjectApprovedQuickly", but when you think about it is fairly strategic with the number of pending projects and the volunteer bottleneck this site experiences. This site is fully functional from the presence of non-paid volunteers. If you really want your project approved, follow the guide that tells you how to get your project approved quickly.
If you look at our task list you will notice that there are still many projects that need to be taken care of. http://sv.gnu.org/task/?group=administration The site's policies are picky so that it helps the volunteer get the most insurance that those who meet policy and directions do have the intention of helping the Free Software movement, rather than some other similar movement. Not everyone will agree with this, but those people have other choices to go for. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/task/?9618> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
