Follow-up Comment #9, task #9511 (project administration): -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256
December 5th 2009 in GNU Savannah item 9951: "Submission of Java Expressions Library" There is one concerning paragraph in README: "There are options, available, for less restrictive licensing. To find out more contact me ([email protected]) directly." this appears like that you are advertising the selling of more permisive licences and that would violate the hosting requirements: "In general, you may not advertise anything commercial on a site hosted here." so please remove that paragraph. You must determine whether your project can run on a Free Software Java suite (see https://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/JavaIssues and http://www.gnu.org/software/java/ for more information). I suppose than as your project is GNU software it runs on a free Java suite but we need to confirm anyway. Please provide us with more information about this point. Currently the documentation have not licencing information, only "all right reserved", that turns it in a propietary documentation. We do not host propietary material. If you want to release it under a free licence (Like the GNU FDL) then put a notice like this next to the Copyright notice: "This file is under the GNU FDL 3 or any later version, see file doc/manual.html for details". Also, please if possible put the files inside a directory in the tarball. Is not mandatory but is a de facto standard and makes life easy to users. If files are in root of tarball one must create an directory, move the tarball and uncompress it instead of only unpack the tarball directly.
