The project is GNU software for a long time already and is already hosted on
ftp.gnu.org at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/jel
Yes, its been a long time and some copyright notices had bitrotted. Also
there were major changes in JEL and I have forgotten to add legal notices to
some of the newer files. It also seems that GNU itself became more pedantic in
paying attention to these details.
Nevertheless, JEL had been a GNU project for quite some time. This is not a
mistake, please switch is back to GNU.
