You suggested I use the full notice so there won't be any confusion as to the
protection of users rights. Now you suggest I give up those rights (we're
talking about copyleft) just so that I can have a shorter notice. I find
this... well I don't really have a word for it. Contradictory perhaps?

If I include short GPL notice, the worst case scenario is that it'll be
treated as public domain by those who will disregard it or theoretically try
to contest it. Plus I lose copyright.
