Copyleft is almost always *good* but isn't *nessesary* for small
things such as those files.
But as you want (Or wanted) to use the GNU GPL, I ask you to use the
full header, because that is the better way to use it.
I don't see the contradiction, if you want to copyleft do it in the
standard way, if not, then put it under public domain. I always
encourage copyleft, but that is up to you.
