Follow-up Comment #2, task #14127 (project administration): hugh - there is indeed the concept of a "GNU user group" (GUG) to be supported on Savannah. I've never seen precise criteria for hosting, but surely "free software friendly" (as opposed to open source) would apply. The same sorts of things we do for software, in analogy.
Looking at http://www.wellton.com.br, I certainly don't know pt-br, but I see mention of "software livre", gnewsense, replicant, etc. So it seems good to me, though hearing a bit more from Wellton (hi Wellton) would be all to the good.
