All files should have valid copyright and licensing notices, including files
like Makefile.am and configure.ac.
Your files claim that they are under the GPLv2+, but LICENSE.txt is GPLv3
(also, your licensing notice uses a wrong FSF address).
At last, "lyg" is too short; why not use "lygen" instead?
