The copyright policy of the University of Trento found at https://www.unitn.it/en/ateneo/53545/intellectual-property-rights-basic-info (Internet Archive URL: https://web.archive.org/unitn.it/en/ateneo/53545/intellectual-property-rights-basic-info) says that "Phd students own any right related to any invention they might create and the copyright for any eligible work or computer software."
